I'm Fayez. For fifteen-plus years I've been the translator, mechanic and connective tissue between commercial, technical and leadership teams. Now I apply that lens to neurodivergent analytical talent.
A techie by trade
Fifteen-plus years across membership and media platform businesses: data analytics, audience insight, business intelligence and technical capability building — warehousing, pipelines, extraction, transformation and turning intelligence into formats different teams can actually use.
That work has included a Head of Data role at a well-known global media and publishing business, representing audience data, BI and insight at board and leadership level, and earlier work at a prominent media and marketing agency building matching logic for messy, human-entered data years before it was fashionable to automate it.

Diagnosis as language, not origin
An ADHD diagnosis provided clarity and context to how my brain works. I want businesses to benefit from that insight.
Statements here about cognition, attention and neurodivergent work patterns are a mix of lived experience, working hypothesis and research in progress. They're treated as exactly that — not settled clinical fact — and the book's research programme exists to test them properly rather than assert them.
Analyst, by way of divergence
The name reflects the approach: rigorous, evidence-grounded analysis applied to a question most organisations haven't asked properly — where does divergent thinking actually create value, and what does it take to build for it deliberately? The territory is deliberately narrow: neurodivergent cognition inside data, analytics, AI, BI, product, technology and transformation work, where thinking itself is the principal tool.
